MOONSHUFFLE
The idea
Born in the 90s, shuffle dance is a relatively new freestyle dance seen in raves and electronic music festivals. In the pandemic, there weren’t many classes to learn the style or a live community to connect with. I created MoonShuffle, an online shuffle dance and music community for dancers of all levels to share content, connect with other people in the community, and learn new moves.
The work
I grew the Instagram community to 100K+ followers and created a household name in the shuffle community. Created a brand identity and logo that represents the movement and shape of the footwork seen in shuffling and gives an aesthetic that represents the late night culture of the rave scene.
